We pasture raise critically rare Red Wattle Hogs. We do not use subtherapuetic antibiotics or growth hormones. Our hogs are allowed to do what pigs do: eat, sleep, play and roll in the mud. As stewards of this breed we are dedicated to breeding the best RW's possible. Only about the top 5% are sold for future breeding stock the rest go to freezer camp. To save the RW's we need both committed stewards and dedicated eaters. Eaters? yes to save the breed we must get more RW pork on peoples' plates.

My partner and I are currently working on a CSA on the Minnesota/North Dakota border. It's getting cold up here and we're hoping to continue working and learning through the winter. We're very laid-back, low maintenance people who can sleep just about anywhere. We're available mid-November through the end of February and are excited about doing just about any kind of work related to good food. I have a Permaculture Design Certificate, speak decent Spanish, and have farmers market management experience. My partner speaks German and Japanese, is an experienced cook and baker, and is awesome with children.
